Manitou Trail * Lake Leelanau 49653 * 231-256-7165 Fishtown White is a very quaffable wine, one that can be enjoyed while sitting on a deck or while enjoying a piece of fish. The rich lemon sorbet on the finish leaves your taste buds wanting to go back for another sip. Sleeping Bare Blanc de Blanc was made in an extra-dry style giving it the perfect level of sweetness on the finish allowing you to drink it alone or to pair it with a variety of cuisine. The wine has layers of apple flavors and toasty notes complimented by a creamy texture with a clean long finish. Chardonnay 2007 ~ First impressions give your palate hints of caramel due to the brief time the wine spends on oak. Along with flavors of caramel you will encounter lemon and a classic minerality found in the soils of Leelanau County. Pinot Grigio Reserve 2006 ~ Portions of our Pinot Gris vineyard are set at a lighter crop level to ensure extra ripeness and are vinified separately from our main batch. We ferment in stainless steel vats to maintain the great fruit aromas of Pinot Grigio. In the spring, we blend a portion of barrel fermented Chardonnay into the Pinot Grigio to reinforce the backbone of the wine. A lovely wine to serve with seafood and fresh fish. Cherry Wine ~ A special blend of Balaton and Montmorency tart cherries. The wine is like cherry pie in a glass, however the sweetness is balanced by natural fruit acids to keep the finish from being cloying.
