New Natural Food Market in Frankfort

A new food market has opened its doors in Frankfort. Charlie’s Natural Food Market sells food and household products with an emphasis on local, organic and bulk products. Owner Charlie McDaniel says the store has plans for cooking and canning classes, music events and a Café space. The market is located at 76 Airport Rd. in Frankfort, next to the Betsie Hosick Health & Fitness Center, just off Frankfort Highway (M-155). Currently the hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. 231-399-0034

Live for Art Today  Sept 3, the new Live For Art Gallery in downtown Beulah is hosting an open house with ribbon cutting to celebrate its opening this month. A unique studio experience showcasing distinctive artistry for new and existing collections, the gallery also features artist statement videos to provide an understanding of each artist’s intentions and creative process. Guests are also encouraged to become engaged in the creative process through monthly interactive activities. Live for Art Gallery is located at 273 S. Benzie Blvd in Beulah. 231-882-9370.
