Winter Microbrew and Music Festival Feb 11th
Cedar Winterfest
January 22nd
1-3 pm
Cedar – Snowmobile Club 2 miles north of Cedar on Schomberg Rd.
Bring your winter sleds, tobaggans, saucers, cross country skis and snowshoes for a Sunday afternoon of fun. We’ll have a bonfire to warm you on the outside and hot chocolate and snacks to warm your tummy. Free and open to the public.

Northport Winter Carnival
The winter festivities are winding down but there is one more in Northport. Activities include ice sculpture demonstration, snowmobile poker run, milk jug curling, broomball, a chili contest and tasting and snowshoe races are all part of the fun.

Empire – Glen Arbor Winterfest
Glen Arbor host the Down by the Boone Dock’s Chili Cook-Off from 12:00 – 3:00 pm. This has become quite the event locally. If you’re into fishing check out the Perch Fishing contest it starts at 7am till 1pm, measure up at the Sportsman’s Shop next to the Boone Docks. February 19th Saturday
Same day is the Empire Winterfest with a polar dip at 2:00pm at South Bar Lake for all those that don’t want to wait till Spring to get wet! The Masonic Lodge on Front Street in Empire is having Portuguese Soup or Spinach Tortellini with Complimentary coffee or Hot Cocoa for $5.00 from 1-3pm.
Frankfort’s Winter Festival
Frankfort’s Winter Festival / 3rd annual Shiver by the River! February 19-20th. Get ready for snow activities and a 2 day Snowmobile Snocross Race in downtown Frankfort. This is an event for the children as well. “Bowling on Main St” and a Winter Parade with decorated ice shanties and sleds. Those marching in the parage will be wearing cross-county skis and snowshoes. Need more details call 231-352-7251
